Golden Globes 2023, le nomination: con “The Crown”, “Mercoledì” e “Dahmer” Netflix domina

Sono state annunciate le nomination degli 80° Golden Globes, che saranno nuovamente trasmessi dalla NBC. Nuove categorie e nuovi premi hanno fatto la loro comparsa nel corso dell’edizione 2023 della kermesse: ecco tutte le candidature.

Dopo lo stop dell’anno precedente, la NBC tornerà a trasmettere la cerimonia dei Golden Globes per l’edizione 2023. In seguito alle accuse di mancata inclusione, l’HFPA (Hollywood Foreign Press Association) ha deciso di fare mea culpa, attraverso una manifestazione di più ampio respiro. Anche per questo, nel corso della prossima cerimonia di premiazione, sono state aggiunte nuove categorie. La kermesse vedrà infatti premiati anche: Miglior Attrice e Miglior Attore non protagonista in una serie tv Musical, Comedy o Drama; e la stessa categoria anche per le miniserie.

Sul fronte delle serie televisive, Netflix sembra farla da padrona. Da Ozark a The Crown 5, fino alle più recenti Mercoledì e Dahmer – Mostro: La storia di Jeffrey Dahmer, il servizio di streaming video si è affermato in diverse categorie. Anche HBO, in particolar modo grazie a The White Lotus: Sicily ed House of the Dragon, non delude le aspettative. Per quanto riguarda il grande schermo, l’Elvis di Baz Luhrmann sembra convincere, venendo candidato come Miglior Film Drammatico, Miglior Regia e Miglior Attore con Austin Butler. Non sorprendono, invece, le nomination a Avatar: La via dell’acqua di James Cameron e The Fabelmans di Steven Spielberg, che competono come Miglior Film Drammatico e, ancora, Miglior Regia.
